The design of the 300 m2 apartment, has been built around a pure white palette to form a light and open space. The luxurious materials, such as furs, leathers, and marble, are all composed of a palette of matte, shiny, soft, brushed and engraved textures, to create an eye-catching sense of spontaneity. We used a range of textures such as shagreen, parchment, blown glass and high glass to open up the space. Pops of colour were added to create an element of surprise in some spaces and to introduce a warm and unique environment. The large, geometric hallway, predominantly composed of white marble, leads the way to a spacious reception room, a sleek dining room, and a light kitchen adorned with contemporary decoration. The apartment enjoys an opulent master suite with a marble en suite bathroom and a guest bedroom with a unique panoramic wallpaper. To create the opulent dining room, Stéphanie Coutas collaborated with Joseph Walsh, a young artist chosen together with the client. Joseph Walsh designed the table and chairs, using a golden motif prevalent in the room, which complements the gold-flecked crystal galaxy chandelier. The artwork and Greek sculpture found in the dining room are antiques belonging to the client, which were a key focus throughout the design. Given the client’s real love and appreciation for antiques, Stéphanie Coutas integrated Syrian cabinets, which were gifted to the client by her father, one of the world’s greatest specialists of Syrian antiques, to render them the key focus of the overall design. With an eye for detail, this project produces a sense of serenity combined with splashes of contemporary surprise and a true joie de vivre. 300m2 - 16th arrondissement
