The interior architecture and design agency Le Berre Vevaud was founded in Paris in 2008 by two friends, Raphaël Le Berre and Thomas Vevaud.
For over a decade, the creative duo has skillfully designed high-end private residences and commercial projects, such as restaurants and offices, around the globe. Influenced by the Memphis movement’s vivid colours and shapes, Raphaël and Thomas have reinterpreted this aesthetic in a modern, sophisticated and sleek manner, resulting in creations tinged with a discreet reminiscence of Art Deco flair.
The interior designers daringly combine classicism with the present, seamlessly associating a minimalist aesthetic with precious materials and a skilled curation of art pieces. Their private residential projects such as Plaine Monceau, Mozart and Georges Mandel perfectly illustrate their remarkable style and absolute expertise.
Cultivating their precision and excellence, Raphaël and Thomas share their favourite pieces and accompany each client in the choice of unique objects. Contemporary art is part of the agency’s DNA, as demonstrated by the design of the Saint-Augustin apartment which was modelled and developed around an art collection. The theatrical décor, unveiled as a preview in the entrance, offers a pathway through the works of art on display in the living room and into the master suite.
Their sought-after furniture line reflects this powerful creative language. Using curved lines and an interplay between texture and material, the duo has already created and produced several acclaimed statement pieces such as the Barth stool. Available in many colours, this sculptural object is produced today in lava stone, bronze and travertine. The Tortuga tray, Goa bench and Giulia table are also pieces anchored in memory. Through the beauty of their lines combined with a strict choice of materials, these pieces embody the new collectible designs of the 21st century.
